Service / Site Waste

Site waste skips. Competitive rates.

Construction and demolition waste management across the UK. Wood, general, hardcore and glass — same five operating hubs as our recycling business, same compliant documentation, sharper rates than mainstream skip hire.

What's offered

  • Wood waste skips
  • General waste skips
  • Hardcore skips
  • Glass skips & containers
  • 4yd, 8yd, 20yd, 40yd RoRo
  • Electronic waste transfer notes
01 / Streams

Four streams. Properly handled.

For C&D contractors and site managers who want clean separation, full documentation, and rates that don't bake in third-party skip-hire margins. Anything beyond these four streams — hazardous, asbestos, contaminated soil — we'll point you to a specialist.

— 01

Wood waste

Treated and untreated timber waste from construction, demolition and refurbishment. Routed to UK reprocessors for chipboard, MDF, biomass fuel or remanufactured wood products.

  • Pallet wood & offcuts
  • Joinery offcuts & timber framing
  • Floorboards & skirtings
  • Demolition timber
  • Treated softwood & hardwood
— 02

General waste

Mixed construction and refurb waste — the kind of stream that's typically too varied for a single recycling skip. We sort, recover what we can, and route the residue properly.

  • Mixed C&D waste
  • Plasterboard & insulation
  • Carpet, underlay & soft furnishings
  • Strip-out general arisings
  • Site office & canteen waste
— 03

Hardcore

Inert construction and demolition waste — concrete, brick, masonry, tile. Crushed and reprocessed into recycled aggregate for sub-base, fill and groundworks.

  • Concrete & reinforced concrete
  • Brick & block
  • Masonry, render & mortar
  • Ceramic tile & pottery
  • Soil-free hard arisings
— 04

Glass

Float glass, glazing offcuts and sealed units routed through our dedicated glass recycling stream. Cleaner cullet, better recovery rates than mixed-skip glass. More on glass →

  • Float & plate glass
  • Sealed units (intact & misted)
  • Glazing & manufacturing offcuts
  • Mirror & shopfront glass
  • Conservatory glazing
02 / Pricing

Why our rates work for site contractors.

We're not a generalist skip-hire firm trying to be all things to everyone. We run dedicated routes from five UK hubs for our core uPVC and glass recycling business — and we have spare capacity on those routes.

That means we can offer site contractors a sharper rate on wood, general waste, hardcore and glass skips than mainstream skip hire — because we're not building a separate logistics operation just for those streams.

  • Existing routes, spare capacity We're already running collection vehicles across the North West, Midlands and Yorkshire. Adding waste skips to those routes is incremental — and we pass the savings on.
  • No third-party hire margin Most "skip hire" companies are brokers — we're not. That margin doesn't exist in our pricing.
  • Same compliance, same documentation Environment Agency licensed, electronic Waste Transfer Notes within 24 hours, full duty-of-care chain.
  • Trade-friendly terms Standing site contracts, scheduled emptying, monthly invoicing for ongoing customers. No deposits, no minimum hire periods on most jobs.
03 / Containers

Skip sizes for every site.

From small refurb jobs to major demolition sites — we'll spec the right container for the project. Skips for short-term placement, RoRos for sites that need long-term capacity with scheduled emptying.

4yd
Small refurb
Short-term site placement for small refurb jobs, single-trade work, or topping up an existing on-site skip. Single load drops.
8yd
Standard build
Most-ordered size. Standard new-build phase, mid-size refurb, or single-house demolition. Empty as needed.
20yd
Demolition RoRo
Roll-on roll-off. Demolition projects, multi-unit residential refurb, larger commercial fit-outs. Stays on site, scheduled emptying.
40yd
Major projects
Roll-on roll-off for major demolition, large-scale construction, framework contracts. Long-term placement with regular swap-outs.

05 / FAQ

Common questions.

What waste streams do you handle?
Wood waste, general construction waste, hardcore and glass. Glass on the waste-management side runs through our dedicated glass recycling stream for cleaner cullet and better recovery rates than mixed-skip glass. For specialist streams (hazardous, asbestos, contaminated soil), we'll refer you to an appropriate licensed contractor.
How are your rates competitive?
We're already running collection routes across our five hubs for uPVC and glass — that gives us spare capacity and tight logistics. We pass that efficiency through to site contractors as competitive rates on wood, general waste, hardcore and glass skips. We're also not a skip-hire broker, so there's no third-party margin built into our quotes.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes. We are an Environment Agency Registered Upper-Tier Waste Carrier (CBDU347776) and provide electronic Waste Transfer Notes within 24 hours of every collection — fully compliant with Section 34 EPA 1990 Duty of Care. Documentation is the same standard as for our recycling streams.
Do you do roll-on roll-off (RoRo) for big sites?
Yes. We supply 20yd and 40yd roll-on roll-off containers for major demolition and construction projects. Containers can be left on site for the duration of the project with scheduled emptying — typically weekly or fortnightly depending on volume.
How quickly can you place a skip?
Same or next working day across the North West, Midlands and Yorkshire — the regions covered by our five hubs. 2–3 working days for the rest of the UK depending on container size and exact location. Standing contracts and ongoing site placements scheduled around your programme.
Do you do mixed waste skips?
For specific cases, yes — but we generally encourage clean-stream skips because they're cheaper and the recovery rates are better. If you want a mixed skip we can quote one; if you want to split into wood + general + hardcore separately, you'll typically save money. Tell us what you've got and we'll advise.
Do you handle hazardous, asbestos or contaminated waste?
No. These streams require specialist licensed contractors with the right permits and capacity. If you call us with a job that includes these, we'll happily refer you to a contractor we trust — but we won't quote for it ourselves.
Can I combine waste management with uPVC collections on the same site?
Yes — the services run from the same hubs, but they're billed and managed as separate jobs. You'll get separate quotes, separate skip drops where needed, and separate Waste Transfer Notes per stream. We do this so each service is properly priced for its actual costs, rather than averaged across.

Got a site? Let's quote it.

Tell us about the job — site location, expected volumes, project length. We'll come back with a quote within hours and have a skip on site whenever you need it.
