Why we run a hub from Stoke-on-Trent.

Stoke-on-Trent is the UK's accidental Midlands routing crossroads. Where the M6, A50, A500 and the A34 converge, you can be on the M1 and M42 within half an hour, which is why we run a Stoke hub: it sits on the line where North–South national waste flows naturally cross. A frame collected in Birmingham and a frame collected in Manchester can both pass through the same depot without burning a half-day in transit.

The Stoke patch covers Staffordshire, the Cheshire south, Telford, Stafford, Cannock, Derby and the wider West Midlands. There's a long industrial heritage of ceramics and trade, an active fabrication corridor through Burslem and Trentham Lakes, and substantial council-housing replacement programmes across the region. Strategic Midlands placement also means we route nationwide overflow loads efficiently when a home hub is at capacity.

04 / FAQ

Stoke-on-Trent, answered straight.

Why a Stoke hub specifically?
Stoke is the UK's strategic Midlands crossroads — M6, A50, A500, M1 and M42 all reach within half an hour. It's where North–South national flows naturally cross, which makes it efficient for both regional collection and nationwide overflow routing.
Do you cover Birmingham and Wolverhampton?
Yes — Birmingham North, Wolverhampton, Walsall and Cannock are all same or next-day patches. Birmingham city centre and the southern West Midlands typically schedule next-day.
What postcodes does the Stoke hub cover?
ST, CW (south), TF, SY (south), DE, WS, B (north), WV, NG (west), SK (south), and parts of LE. Wider West Midlands coverage by appointment.
Can you handle volume from Telford and the Shropshire industrial estates?
Yes — Telford 50, Halesfield, Stafford Park and the surrounding industrial estates. Storage cages and scheduled pickups available; cleaner offcut streams move into our rebated programme.
Are you set up for nationwide overflow loads?
Yes — when one of our other four hubs is at capacity, Stoke acts as a strategic re-routing point. National framework contracts often route part of their volume through here for that reason.
